Istanbul's Northern Edge

Tour details
As soon as you leave Maslak, the city thins out quickly. Hacıosman, Uskumruköy, Zekeriyaköy — each neighborhood is a little calmer and a little greener than the last. As you head toward the northern forests, Istanbul is still behind you, but its noise has long since faded.
At Kilyos the sea appears for the first time — and this is not the blue calm of the Bosphorus. The Black Sea is different. Its waves are rougher, its color darker, its air sharper. As you drink your coffee at a seaside café, your eyes search the horizon, and there is no other continent there.
The coastal strip from Kilyos to Ağaçlı is a stretch of Istanbul most people do not know. The sea is always on your left, the wind comes straight at you — in this section you find the essence of riding a motorcycle. Lunch at a village restaurant in Ağaçlı, then the connection to the TEM via Hadımköy and the return to Maslak.
So much fits into half a day.

- Local recommendations at every stop: the best fish restaurant, the freshest cheese, the loveliest viewpoint
- Technical support and communication coordination in emergencies
- Direction during photo shoots — experienced in motorcycle photography
Languages: Turkish and English
Meeting and Briefing
Every tour starts at our Mecidiyeköy branch 30 minutes before departure. During the briefing:
- The day's route and stops are explained
- Weather and road conditions are reviewed
- Gear is checked
- A group communication channel is set up (WhatsApp)
- Emergency procedures are shared
No tour starts in a rush. The first kilometer is the safest kilometer.
Roadside Support
If you run into an unexpected technical problem while riding, you are not alone. The Turuncu Motors operations team is reachable throughout the tour. For minor breakdowns we step in on the spot and, if needed, provide a replacement vehicle.
Photo Stops
On every route we stop at photo spots we have scouted in advance. The photos taken with the group's motorcycles are shared digitally at the end of the tour.
