Explicit Consent Statement

1. General Principles

• Explicit consent is consent that relates to a specific subject, is based on information and is declared of your own free will (KVKK Art. 3).
• Giving consent is not a condition for making a reservation or using the rental service. If you do not consent or if you withdraw consent, you use our service on the same terms.
• No consent is pre-ticked or assumed: non-essential cookies are not loaded unless you make a choice in the cookie banner, and the message permission box in the reservation form is unticked by default.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason and free of charge. Withdrawal takes effect for the future.

2. Subject of Consent: Analytics and Advertising Cookies and Transfer Abroad

When you accept the relevant cookies in the cookie banner, you consent to the following:

• Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>) being written to your browser, and your cookie identifier, IP address, pages visited, clicks, device and browser information being processed to measure visit statistics.
• Google Ads cookies (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw) being written to your browser, and the same data being processed to measure whether your visit from an advertisement leads to a reservation.
• This data being transferred to the service providers Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC and to their servers abroad, primarily in the United States (KVKK Art. 9).

Possible risks of the transfer abroad: for as long as there is no adequacy decision of the Personal Data Protection Board for the countries to which the data is transferred,

• your data may be subject to the law of a country that does not provide the same level of protection as Turkish data protection legislation;
• public authorities of the recipient country may access your data under that country's legislation;
• exercising your rights against the recipient companies and the authorities of that country may be more difficult than in Türkiye;
• the recipient companies may also process this data for their own purposes; that processing is governed by the relevant company's privacy policy.

3. Subject of Consent: Commercial Electronic Messages

When you tick the optional box in the reservation form, you approve, under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages, Hasan Karalök TMA Turuncu Motorlu Araçlar sending you commercial electronic messages about offers, discounts and announcements by email, text message (SMS), voice call and WhatsApp message, and your first and last name, email address and phone number being processed for that purpose.

The box is unticked by default; leaving it unticked does not affect your reservation. Messages about your reservation (confirmation, handover time, changes, refunds) are not commercial electronic messages and are sent regardless of this permission.

Your approval is recorded together with its date and time; approval and opt-out records are reported to the Message Management System (İYS) as required by legislation.

Right to opt out: you may refuse messages at any time, without giving a reason and free of charge, by using the opt-out method included in every message, by writing to info@motorcyclerentalturkey.com, by calling +90 534 050 01 11 or through the Message Management System (iys.org.tr). Messages stop within three working days at the latest after your opt-out notice reaches us.

4. Record of Consent

Your cookie decision and its time are stored in your browser. Your permission for commercial electronic messages is stored with your reservation record together with its date and time. These records are kept, as proof that consent was given, for the periods stated in the Privacy Notice.
